HSC Breast Implants
HSC breast implants from Sientra are the first FDA-approved 5th generation round breast implant and the only one with Sientra’s proprietary silicone gel. HSC breast implants are durable without being hard and, thanks to the strength of their gel-shell integration, are much better at retaining upper pole shape. Upper pole shape is essential for ideally shaped breasts.
HSC breast implants from Sientra are round, which may make them better for placement below the muscles of the chest. This is something that will be discussed in greater detail during your initial breast augmentation consultation with Dr. Chatson.
HSC+ Breast Implants
HSC+ breast implants are the first FDA-approved shaped implant and remain the only one with HSC+ silicone gel. This gel mimics the look and feel of natural breast tissue, and produce an end result that is soft but firm.
Known alternately as form-stable or gummy bear breast implants, the HSC+ implant from Sientra can be placed above the muscles in the chest without compromising shape or feel. During your initial consultation, Dr. Chatson will review all of your implant and placement options to help you determine which is best for your needs.
Both HSC and HSC+ Sientra breast implants are covered by C3 (Capsular Contracture Care), the industry’s first care program designed to assist women who experience this rare-but-not-impossible breast augmentation complication.
